Columbia University's College of Dental Medicine
Dr. and Mrs. Pritz recently made a very generous pledge of $1 million to Columbia University's College of Dental Medicine (CDM). They have set the bar high, making one of the largest gifts ever to the newly renamed College of Dental Medicine. CDM hopes that this gift will inspire Dr. Pritz's classmates and colleagues to follow his lead as they embark on the largest campaign ever for the University and for the CDM.
This gift will help the College to meet the challenges of educating the next generation of leaders, advancing scientific discovery and delivering superlative care. With this gift and additional support from his colleagues and friends, and corporate and foundation partners CDM will continue construction of their state-of-the-art clinical care center, provide financial support for hardworking students, continue to attract and retain talented faculty, support the growing research enterprise, and expand the innovative program to provide oral health services for patients who traditionally have difficulty accessing services.
Columbia University's College of Dental Medicine is thrilled that Dr. Pritz who is retired from private practice, but an active member of our faculty and the admissions committee, accepted Dean Lamster's invitation to become the Honorary Chairman for the capital campaign. His leadership will ensure success for the CDM campaign, and also will help to define the future of dental medicine.
