Voting Information
Your Voice Matters
Residents have helped shape the Our Legacy, Our Future plan and will have the final say when they vote this fall.
The three projects will be presented as three separate questions on the ballot. Voters will be asked to consider whether to approve the half-percent sales tax to be used for each project.
Regardless of whether one, two or all three projects are approved, the half-percent sales tax rate would remain the same.
If all three projects are approved by voters, the half-percent sales tax will be in place for up to 20 years or when the $65 million, plus financing costs, is collected.
If only one or two of the projects are approved, the half-percent sales tax would be in place for less time and expire when an amount sufficient to cover the approved projects has been collected.
